Kapsali is a beautiful village with wooded hills and the unique twin bay.

Kapsali Beach

The “blue flag” sandy, turcoise-blue water beach has changing rooms, showers, umbrellas and chaizlongs, and is disability friendly. You can just swim and sunbath, rent a pedal boat or a kayak to explore the bay, or try a scuba diving course for a more active day.

Sparagario Beach

One of the most beautiful beaches of the island at the end of a gorge, just a foot-path away. It worth the visit as you are going to feel the island’s powerful energy and you will come in touch with the kytherian nature in this imposing, remoted beach.

Chytra

A savage islet just outside Kapsali bay, very steep, blossoming with semprevivas. Take Glass bottom boat for a short ride till Chytra and swim inside the cave to unreveal the hidden secrets of it under the unique guidance of captain Spiros.

Saint John in the Cliff

According to tradition, Evangelist John came after he left Rome –where he was persecuted- and began the writing of the Apocalypse, before moving to Patmos. Go upstairs the 130 steps to see the old church, spend a few moments in the candle-shaded cave, observe the old paintings in the walls

The Castle of Chora

The imposing castle or “Fortezza” was built in the 13th century by the Venetians, who occupied the island. It worth a long stroll so as to explore the old churches, the gunpowder-house with the blazons’ excibition, the cisterns and the breathtaking views of the three seas, the Ionian, the Aegean
